Moffatt: Albert Victor “Ab”
With love and respect we are announcing the passing of our father, Albert Moffatt, known as “Ab”, on Tuesday January 18, 2011. Ab is predeceased by his wife Theresa, that he loved and cared for until her death in February 1991. Brother to Lavina, Lenore and the late Douglas. Survived by his daughters Johanne Sherber, Deborah Chisholm and Heather Eacott (Gary); 6 grandchildren Jennifer Green, Kris Eacott (Lorra), Ben Eacott (Jen), Holly Chisholm (Neil) and Kyle Chisholm (Mandy); and 5 great grandchildren Krista and Kim Green, Nyomi and Owen Chisholm, and Carter Eacott. Ab was the last founding member that established Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 599 in 1952. He served as president for several years of service and we would like to thank the union for caring for the retired members. Honouring his wishes and acknowledging his quiet and private life, a private family service has taken place, and will be followed by an interment in the spring.
