Died peacefully, surrounded with love at the age of 88, on February 2, 2016 at Hospice Simcoe. Devoted husband of 62 years to Margaret. Cherished dad of Christine (Leigh), Sandy (Janet), Sheila (Louie) and David (Lori). Loving grandpa to Adam(deceased), Bryan, Jeffrey, Ryan, Graeme, Lindsay and Kelly. The family would like to thank Dr. K Mossman and the staff at Hospice Simcoe for their exceptional care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the SteckleyGooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 1 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm.
