Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Tuesday July 16th 2013 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Ilah Jones. Dear father of Stephen (Janice), and the late Murray Jones. Proud Gram pa of Stephanie (Elias), Chris, Kyle (Emily), Trevor and great Gram pa of Berlin. Sadly missed by many other family members and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering which will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie on Sunday July 21st 2013 from 1 pm. to 3 pm. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in Al's memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
