Allison (Anne) started her journey through life July 2 1942, near Edinburgh Scotland.
Here she spent her early years till the next leg in the journey. It was off to Toronto Canada where she went through her teen years. Then away to the Los Angeles area of California, here she got married and had her sons. Always looking for “something” it was back to Britain first England then to Scotland. After a few years again the urge to move hit and she and her family ended up in Barrie. Here her boys reached maturity and started their own journeys and Anne and her husband parted ways.
She eventually ended up at her final home, her apartment on Edgehill, where she was a well-liked member of that community, often seen participating in the “front door chat groups”.
Allison is survived by her sons Colin (Sue) and Fraser, grandchildren Heather (Andrew), Elizabeth (Jerome), Colleen, Tiffany, Kaitlyn (Jean-Rael) and several great grandchildren. Will be missed by her brother Frank (Katherine) and many nieces and nephews who knew her fondly as Auntie Anne. Alison is predeceased by her parents William and Margaret Johnstone and her sister Vivian Russell (née Johnstone) Allison took the final step of her journey March 30, 2025, passing quietly in her sleep.
