ELLIOTT, Alma
Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay Seniors Lodge, Penetanguishene on June 6, 2024 at the age of 100.
Predeceased by her husband James Elliott. Honoured mother of Keith Bramwell (Sally), Cheryl Braun (Paul), and son-in-law David Elliott (Marissa). Cherished grandmother of Mark Bramwell (Emer), and Christopher Hawk. Survived by her brother Gerald Green (Peggy) and predeceased by brothers Lloyd and John. Will be sadly missed by her niece Lynn Ryan (Paul), nephews Barry Murray and Garry Murray, great-niece Shannon, and great-nephew Jamie.
Alma enjoyed life and was a very social person. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and regularly played cards with a great number of friends. She remained with skiing and ice skating well into her 80’s.
The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the outstanding staff and volunteers of GBSL Penetanguishene, and to Dr. Julie Caron for their years of compassionate care.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 1 PM until the time of service at 2 PM. Alma’s urn will later be placed alongside Jimmy’s at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga.
