ATTWELL, Anita Theresa (nee St. Amant)
1960-2024
Anita passed peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on October 16th, 2024 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Mike and cherished mother of Melissa. Daughter of the late Alfred and Marie St. Amant and sister of the late Michael St. Amant. Sister of Kathleen of Barrie, Linda of Toronto, and brother Ed (Gail) of Penetanguishene. Will be sadly missed by her uncles, aunts and many beloved cousins.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 from 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Thursday, October 24th at 10 am. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Parish hall. Cremation and interment at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Perkinsfield, Ontario at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anita’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
