Peacefully at home on May 9, 2009, Rita Anne Marie (Cote) Barbe of Barrie in her 66th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Barbe. Dear mother of Peter and his wife Lorie of Barrie, Louise and her husband Jim Dewar of Barrie, Michael and his wife Cheryl of Newmarket, Suzanne Barbe at home. Dear grandmother of Anthony and Andrew Dewar, Jamie Barbe and Christian and Ashton Barbe. Survived by 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends and family may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 13. Funeral Mass from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Barrie on Thursday May 14th at 10:00 am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barrie. Reception to follow at St. Mary’s Church.
