CRAWFORD, Anthony Paul (Tony)
(WW II Veteran, 47 Squadron RAF) It is with deep sadness the family announces
the passing of Tony Crawford peacefully at his home at RR #1, Williamsford,
Ontario on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 88 after a long illness.
Devoted husband for more than 45 years of the late Betty Mary A. McIntosh
(1995). Predeceased by his parents Evelyn Mary Cobb and Arthur Bernal
Crawford and his dear brother Alan and wife Betty Harwood, all of England.
Lovingly remembered by his daughters A.P./Ann Crawford and Sheila Edlund
and her husband Bill. Also remembered by nieces and nephews Barbara, Bill
(Helen) and Alan McIntosh, Tom (Teri) Jebb and their families, and sister-in-law
Bett Harwood and family in England. Friends may call at the Steckley-
Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario on Tuesday,
November 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on
Wednesday, November 3rd at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Interment
will take place following the service at Union Cemetery, Barrie. In lieu of flowers
and in recognition of his long-time Canadian roots in Chesley, Ontario, the family
would appreciate donations to the Chesley Medical Clinic Expansion Project
