Arlene Gertrude MacKichan, 89, passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario on June 15, 2022.
Arlene was born in South Range, Nova Scotia to the late Forest and Gertrude (Sabean) Hill.
Arlene was a beloved “Grammie”, knitter, baker, cook, bridge player, Nova Scotian at heart and loved her family beyond all else.
Arlene is survived by her children, Derry MacKichan, Ian (Lianne) MacKichan, Craig (Jane) MacKichan and Keltie (Cam) MacKichan, sister Vi Parnell, brother-in-law Mike Baxter, grandchildren Jordan, Lucas, Brittany (Andrew), Claire, Liam (Kati), Mitchell, Spencer, Sarah, Caden and great grandchildren Noah and Raya.
Arlene is predeceased by her husband Howard James (Jim) MacKichan, sisters Maizie (Eldred) Marshall, Donna (Mike) Baxter and brother Clarence (Verna) Hill.
A private family service has been held.
