BROOKS, Arthur James

Passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital Hospital on January 7, 2013, at the age of 76. Arthur, beloved and devoted husband of the late Frances Brooks. Loving father of Linda (Danny) Laycock, Michael (Vicki) Brooks, Teresa Brooks (Larry Danvers), Joanne (Steve) Meyer and Anne Marie Brooks. Cherished Grandfather of Jeremy (Samantha), Melanie (Ryan), Amanda, Elizabeth, Matthew, Ben, Denise, Shane and Brianna. Great-grandfather of Axel and Harper. Brother of Ray (Pat) Brooks. Brother-in-law of Father Linus, Sister Cecile, Hector (Priscilla), Leonard, Jeanette (Tony), Ovide (Danielle) and Gerald (Paula). . Arthur will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Arthur was a long time professional in the Insurance Industry and employee of St. Andrew's College. The family would like to thank Dr. Gabor, Sue from the Emergency Room and the staff in the Respiratory Care Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital. Family and friends will be received at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, on Friday January 11, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. until time of complete Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
