Peacefully passed at the Roberta Place Long Term Care on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Byer) for 57 years. Loving father of Arthur (Jennifer), Sharon, Gary (Michelle) and Beverley. Proud grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of Ralph (Marg) and Jack (Linda). Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 at 12 p.m. until the time we celebrate Ron’s life inside the Chapel at 1 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to a charity of choice. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Roberta Place Long Term Care for all the kindness and compassion they treated Ron with.
