MacDONALD, Audrey McKenzie (nee Wilson)
Audrey passed away peacefully in her 86th year on February 28, 2010 with her daughters by her side. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Kenneth William MacDonald in 2001 and her son Kenneth William MacDonald Jr. (Sylvia) in 2005. Loving mother to Chris Neal (Frank), Catherine Haughton (Paul Alessio) and Barbara Herriott (Paul). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael Haughton, Kevin Haughton (Claire), Andrea Neal (Max Cantin), and Bradley Neal (Jenna Webber). Survived by one of her four siblings, Elizabeth Charsley of Toronto. Audrey will also be remembered by many more extended family members. Happily, Audrey was able to donate a gift of sight. A special thank you to the third floor Palliative Care Staff at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, for their dedicated and compassionate care. Family and friends will be received at The Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario on Friday, March 5, 2010. Visitation is from 2:00 pm until the service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 3:00 pm. If desired, donations in the memory of Audrey MacDonald can be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
