Whalley, Barbara Ann (nee: Rearden)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 25, 2010, in Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 76. Predeceased by her parents William and Winifred Rearden, of Toronto. Will be deeply missed by her best friend and daughter Susan and her husband John Booth, and cherished granddaughter Amanda. Remembered always by her son Stephen, partner Stephanie and their daughter Ivy Winifred. Barbara’s life was enriched by her good friends in Barrie over the last 14 years, playing bridge, swimming at the Y, Friday night dinners with the girls, and especially her dear friend Janet, and of course her 2 wonderful furry kitties Mac and Tosh. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Worsley Chapel (30 Worsley Street @Clapperton) on Friday August 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A Private family burial will take place at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barrie Humane Society or Charity of choice would be appreciated by her family.
