Archer, Barbara (nee Akers)
Surrounded by her family on July 1, 2014. Barbara, in her 60th year, peacefully passed away. Forever remembeed by her daughters Jennifer and Amanda and her sister Betty. Daughter of the late Bill and Helen Akers. Wife of the late Glen Archer. Forever friend of Fannie. Sadly missed by her furry friend Riley. Loved by many neices, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Rd., Barrie from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Friday July 4, 2014. Family will also receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at St Peter's Church, 6254 Yonge St RR 1, Churchill. Interment will take place following the service. Reception to follow. Donations to Lupus Canada, COPE Therapy Dogs or the Heart and Stroke foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
