Barbara Provan of Barrie, in her 98th year, passed away at Grove Park Home on Monday, March 14, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Jack Whiteford Provan. Dear mother of Catherine Ann Bruce (Jerry Bruce) and Bonnie Provan (Ron Bobbette). Loving grandmother of Tamara Rae Curtis (Jeff Naylor) and Adam Whiteford Bobbette. Dear sister of the late Lillian Gertrude Potter (Carl), Annie Wood, Elmer Wood of Madoc, Gordon Wood of Dryden, Herbert Wood of Stirling, Marjorie Chambers of Belleville, Ruby Adams of Barrie, and Helen McLeaming of Barrie. Great-grandmother of Finn, Mason and Kellen Naylor. Friends and family will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Sunday March 20, from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 21 at 2:00pm. Interment Resthaven Cemetery, Toronto, Tuesday at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
