Bertram Wheeler – April 1, 1944 – April 21, 2011
With deep sadness, we announce the quick passing of Bertram Wheeler. He died peacefully at his home on Echo Lake, surrounded by his loving wife Ruby, and three children, daughters Dale (husband Bryan), Christine (scott) & son Todd. Devoted to his family & friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him...especially poppy's pride & joy, his grand-kids: Christopher, Krista, Brittanie, Stevie, William & Conner, and his great grand-daughters Arianna & Madison. Family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, Ontario L4N 4C2 - 705-721-1211 on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. for a memorial service in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to “The Hospital for Sick Kids” or the “Canadian Cancer Society” in memory of Bertram.
