Wood, Elizabeth Ann “Betty”
Passed way at home, on Sunday October 25, 2015, in her 78th year. Wife of the late William Franklin Wood. Loving mother to Heather Cleaveley (Al), Terry Dyball (Lynda), Cheryl Menaul (Terry), Carol Pattenden (Wilfred), and Cindy Crissinger (Barry). Cherished grandmother to Rebecca, Melissa, Jennifer, Michael, Tanya, Amy, Kyle, and Audrey. Predeceased by grandchildren Tyler and Johnathon. Beloved great grandmother to Leah-May, Rylyn, Austin, Delia, Nicholas, and Haylee. Honoured sister to Laura Storey (Bruce), Don Bidwell (Jean), George Bidwell (Lynda), and predeceased by Robert. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Thursday October 29th from 2pm until 4pm, and 7pm until 9pm. A service to be held in the chapel on Friday, October 30th, at 11am, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers donations in Betty’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkinson’s Society Canada, and would be appreciated by the family.
