GOUGH, BEV ALEXANDER
Passed away at Grove Park Home surrounded by his family on February 10, 2015 in his 91st
year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marion (Ross) in 2003. Dearly loved Dad of
Kathy Leonard (Doug), Sandy Saunders (Ken), and Jon (Tracey). Loved brother and brother-inlaw
of Marjorie Williamson (Keith predeceased), Tom and Barb Ross, Joyce and Robert
Strachan. Predeceased by Wallace and Elda Gough, Flora and Stan Hull. Proud Grandpa of
Colin Leonard (Karla), Sarah D'Ambrosio (Ryan), Laura Corbett (Matthew), Brandon Saunders
(Megan), Brianne Martin (Ryan), Brock Saunders and McKenna and Ty Gough. Great Grandpa
to Peter and Ben Saunders, Sophia D'Ambrosio, Colton Martin and Norah Leonard.
Bev was a 38 year employee of Canada Post, lifelong farmer in Oro Township and former
President of the Orillia Agricultural Society. A sincere thank you to all the staff at Grove Park
Home, Spruce Unit, for their exceptional care and compassion. Family and friends will be
received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario, on
Friday, February 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on
Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to Grove Park
Home, the Ontario Humane Society - Barrie Branch, or the charity of your choice would be
appreciated by the family.
