On Saturday January 22nd, 2022, with his family at his side, Brendan Holly passed away, at the age of 70. A beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Mark (Amy) Holly and Deirdre (Nick) Lacey-Holly. Will be missed by Patricia's son Norman and his family. An extremely proud Grandad of Teagan, Nolan and Quinn. Dear brother of Brian (Patti) and Paul; predeceased by his brother David (Anne) and in his heart the entire Holly clan.
With a logical and methodical mind of an engineer and the wit and humour of an Irishman, Brendan loved to engage, debate and add humour to almost any conversation. His life’s passions were undoubtedly his family, his work, sailing and cycling. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his craft, his sense of humour and the joy he took in the simple things in life.
A quiet and private man, Brendan would not entertain the thought of a ‘big to do’. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with his immediate family. In honour of Brendan, the family would encourage you to share a story or a memory of Brendan here on the condolence page.
