Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 20, 2012 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in her 49th year. Carol (nee Braithwaite), beloved mother of Mitchell and Evan. Loving Daughter of Bea Braithwaite and daughter in law of Velma Hovey. Dear sister of Phil Braithwaite (Gail). She is loved and will be missed by her companion Jeff Peyton. Also lovingly remembered by Jeff Hovey. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at Victoria Village, 78 Ross St., Barrie on Saturday, morning June 2nd at 11 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Gilda's Club, Barrie or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home.
