Peacefully surrounded by her family at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on May 9th 2014 in her 76th year. Carol refused to be defined by her battle with cancer for over 22 years with her positive attitude and deep faith in the Lord. Beloved wife of the late Oliver Watson. Loving mother of Deb Russell, Dan Watson (Ken lynne), Susan Watson and Sandy Watson (Wally). Proud Grandma of Tanya, Ryan, Katelyn, Emily, Sarah, Laura, Melissa, Ellyn, Olivia, Owen and great Grandchildren Caleb, Emma, Charlie, Daisy and Van. Carol will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by the ladies of the Thornton card group. At Carol's request a private service and interment have taken place. In lieu of flowers a legacy fund for Carol's grandson Van, who is diagnosed with Lissencephaly has been created, cheque's can be made payable to Ryan and Shannon Russell in trust for Van Russell.
