Passed peacefully on July 27, 2016 at the age of 49. Beloved wife of Colin Young. Cherished mother of Sarah and Brandon. Loving daughter of Robert and Kathryn Majeski and sister of Lissa Muir (Kevin), Jamie Majeski (Marnie), Christina Speers (Chris), and Roseann Cole (Stephen). Carrie will be sadly missed by her 6 nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family, lifelong friends, and the many children she cared for through the years. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Carrie’s life at the Liberty North Banquet Hall, 100 Caplan St., Barrie, on Saturday August 13th from 5 pm until 8 pm, with funeral arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street in Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
