McCreary, Catherine Elizabeth - age 61, Passed away at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Friday July 22, 2011. Catherine was a loving wife of 39 years to Robert “Bob” Fyfe McCreary, proud mother to Julie and Jennifer (Michael Kidd) and very proud grandmother of Haley Jane Kidd. She is loved and will be missed by her mother Ruth McCaw (late Donald), her sister Ann (and family) and other extended family and friends who all lended their support and care throughout Catherine's brave battle. The family would especially thank the doctors, nurses and staff who took such wonderful care of her. There will be an open house to celebrate her life at the McCreary home in Barrie on Wed. July 27th from 1 – 4 PM. Arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. The family would be grateful for any donations to the charity of choice.
