Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, on Tuesday May 17, 2011, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee Martin). Loving father to Lloyd (Sue), Larry (Lydia), Linda Hall (Ken), Janet Ellis (Ron), David (Lisa), Paul, and Rob (Colleen). Cherished brother to Flo, Elsie, and predeceased by Lyla, George, Jean and Arthur. Cecil will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Road, Barrie on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at The Essa Road Presbyterian Church, 59 Essa Road in Barrie, Ontario, on Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.
