Peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Zimmerman) for 59 years. Loving father of Chuck (Rosana), Ken (Kelly) and Linda. Proud grandfather of Adam (Jen), Abbie (Chris), Ryan, Melissa, Rachel and Tracy. Brother-in-law to Edith Gardner and brother of the late Joseph and Katherine. Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, on Wednesday from 2-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 11:30 am. Cremation.
