Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 15th, 2015 in his 85th year. Beloved Husband of Joan. Dear Father of Charles Kevin (Tina), Eric Paul (Nancy), Randall Lawrence, Kelly James, and Brenda Marlene. Proud Grandpa of Eric Brophy, Amelia Brophy, Sarah Brophy, Katelyn Brophy, Gavin Franssen, Brogan Franssen, Devan Lee Brophy, and Aidan Brophy and Great Grandpa of Lilian Ann and Sadie Isabel. Survived by Brother Ralston Brohpy and Sister Elaine Landry. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 2-4 pm. and 7-9 pm. A Mass of christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Thursday, August 20, 2015 starting at 10 am. A private interment will follow at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the True patriot Love Fund for Canadian Military families and are greatly appreciated by the family.
