Peacefully at Leisureworld, Barrie, on Monday February 6, 2012, in her 99th year. Rita (nee Latham) beloved wife of the late Robert “Jock” Gordon. Loving mother of Helen McGowan (Merl Stafford). Cherished grandmother of Lauri Corrigan, Lynn McGowan, Craig McGowan (Val Halus), the late Christopher “Topher” McGowan and great grandmother of Nicole, Michael, Cassandra, Michael, Kristen, Craig Jr., Chelsea, Courtney and Christopher Jr. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd. On Wednesday from 7-9 PM. Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday morning, February 9th at 11 o'clock, followed by cremation.
