Christopher John Goodwin passed away suddenly on November 14th, 2022 at his home in Barrie, Ontario. Chris was a lover of history, archery, sword-fighting, bushcraft and preparing for nuclear winter among countless other things- his personality was so rich and full, and its' absence leaves a gaping hole in the lives of all he associated with. He devoted his life to making others laugh, no matter how hard life got for him. He was an incredible man with a huge heart, a sharp tongue, and a crazy sense of humour. He was a loving husband and father, a true family man that did anything to make his loved ones happy. He was a selfless, hard-working, complex man that deserved so much more than anyone could ever give him- Chris was a chosen one sent here for a divine purpose none of us left behind could ever begin to comprehend, and God has called him home now that his life purpose is complete. Earth has lost one of its' strongest warriors, but Heaven has regained one of its' purest souls. Chris's legacy lives on in his wife Cathy, his two daughters, his feline son Francis, and all of the lives that he's touched without even realizing it.
