BAKER, Clara Evelyn (nee Cox)
Peacefully in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Robert (1993). Cherished mother of Robert (Anthony), Ross, and Sharron Hellas (Terry). Adored grandmother of Joseph and Matthew (Stacey) Hellas, Laurie Baker-Rogers (Kevin), Cheryl Clarke (Kevin), Kevin and Christopher Baker. Loved great-grandmother to Lennon and Bronwyn Rogers, Kaylah, Owen, Logan and Abigail Hellas, and Chloe and Sophie Baker. Mother was a long time member and soloist of the Choir of Teston United Church, and a founding member of the Hope School Home and School Assoc. In her later years, she was an active member of the Georgian Bay Steam and Antique Association. An avid knitter, she supplied family, friends, and charities with her many creations. She will be missed by her extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St, Barrie, Ontario on Saturday, March 3rd, from 12 pm to 2 pm followed by a celebration of her Life in the chapel. Interment will take place in the spring at Barrie Union Cemetery.
