Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on January 23rd, 2022 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Verdin (1993). Loving mother of Elaine Gourvis (George). Cherished grandmother of Daniel and Alexander. Will be sadly missed by many long-time friends in the Barrie and Toronto area.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 7-9 p.m., with the funeral service held in the Chapel on Friday, January 28th at 10 a.m. and online via livestream. Interment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Etobicoke. Masks, physical distancing, and capacity limitations are mandatory.
If desired, donations in Clara-May’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated by the family.
