Claudia Jean McArthur (nee Hume) sadly passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 after a
brave and spirited effort to pursue her joys in life while battling breast cancer.
Claudia is predeceased by her loving husband James (Jimmy) Gordon McArthur, mother
Thelma (Rolston) and father Claude Hume, and brother James (Jamie) Hume. She is survived
by her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Hume, loving daughter Nadine (Dini; Luigi Mignardi) and loving
son Jason (Jay; Theresa Noga). Cherished grandmother of Gabriella & Anna Mignardi and
James & Felicity McArthur, as well as many sisters- & brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends.
Heartfelt thanks to all of the above and wonderful caregivers through her illness.
Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30
Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario, on Thursday, November 13, 2014, from 10 AM until time of
funeral service in the chapel at 11AM. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations
to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for Cancer Care or the Canadian Cancer Society
