THYSSEN, Cor – Passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre at the age of 84. Loving husband of Mary. Beloved father of Heddy (Bryen) Girling and Wilf (Laurie) Thyssen. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie (Matt), Matt (Christina) and Kristi (Shiva). Dear brother of Dina, in Holland.
Friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Wednesday, January 23rd, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 24th, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
