Walker, Cynthia Hope “Cherry” - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2012 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Don Walker. Dear mother of Wendy (Eddie), Jackie (Simon) and Judy (Bruce). Loving grandmother to Andrew, William, Samantha, Kristy and Graham. Cherry will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, and Hospice Simcoe for the wonderful care during her short illness.
Visitation will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, January 13th from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 14th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe.
