Maloney, Dan
Passed away on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at the age of 68. Sadly missed by his children Shelley Maloney, Tom Maloney (Jaclyn), Matt Maloney (Elise) and their mother Susanne Maloney. Proud grandpa of Connor and Kaitlyn. Survived by brother Conrad Maloney (Linda), Colum Maloney (late Kay), and sister Pat McAvoy (Gerry). Predeceased by brother Jimmy Maloney, Brigid Priestner, John Maloney, William Maloney and Gerry Maloney. Sadly missed and always remembered by other dear family members and friends. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday November 25, 2018 from 1 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place the following day, Monday November 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barrie. Reception at the Barrie Golf and Country Club 635 St Vincent St, Barrie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dan's name to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or The Sick Kids Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
