Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Marie for 57 years (predeceased 2017). Loving father of Lynn (Mark), James (Dawn), David L. (Linnea), Patrick (Amy) and Sean (Sandra). Cherished grandfather of Colin, Mackenzie, Evan, Ryan, Owen, Eric, Wyatt, Gabriel and Lukas. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Marie Doyle. Will be sadly missed by his sister Marilyn Baker and brother James Doyle, as well as many life-long friends.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Holy Sprit Parish, 650 Essa Rd., Barrie on Thursday, August 10th at 11 AM. Following the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, guests are invited back to the Parish Hall for a reception luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
