Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Care Centre at the age of 67. Survived by the love of his life Silvia (nee Gibillini). Will be sadly missed by his children Philip (Jackie) and Susanne (Jeff). Forever cherished by his one and only granddaughter Sarah. Forever remembered by his in-laws Mario and Maria Gibillini and his brother-in-law Richard Gibillini. Predeceased by his father Baxter and his mother Susie (nee Earle). Fondly remembered by his brother Winston (Palma), his sisters Florence Sweetapple (Ches), Fronie MacLachlan (John), Doreen, Gloria Labastide (Keith). Predeceased by his sister Phyllis Willis and his brother-in-law Larry Gibillini (Heidi). David will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Private memorial service entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario).
