Passed peacefully while surrounded by his family at Hospice Simcoe on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at the age of 50. Beloved husband of Alicia and step-father to Joshua. Cherished brother to Cathy, Tina and Dom. Uncle to Sabrina, Christian, Marco (Natalie), Michael, Stephanie, Sandy, Veronica, and great-uncle to Marley and Marcus. Will be sadly missed by his father in law Dave and mother in law Shelly. David retired from a career spanning over 30 years with York Regional Police. His loss will be greatly felt within the entire community. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd. on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 from 10 am until the time we celebrate David’s life in the Chapel at 11:30. Following the service, guests are invited to remain and share memories with the family during a reception in the Lounge.
