Dennis, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 24th, with family by his side. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Bernice and his children, Sharron (Vic), Darlene, Dennis (Karen), Wendy, Dan (Lynda) and Melinda (Rob). Papa to Christopher (Lisa), Kaylaa (Chris), Melissa (Brad), Jared, Amanda, Andrew (Jessica), Adam (Caitlin), Kristyn and Samantha. Grandpapa to Dillan, Rhianen, and Jonah. Predececeased by sister Beryl (Calvin). Beloved brother to Keith (Mae), Louis (Fay), June (Clem), and Horace (Donna). He will also be missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie on Tuesday August 26th, 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday August 27th, noon to 2 pm with a service celebrating Dennis’ life to take place immediately following. Reception will follow the service at Debb’s Place at 352 Huronia Road, Barrie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stroke, Salvation Army, War Amps, or Canadian Cancer Foundation.
