Derek Pierce May 10, 1953-July 2, 2009
Passed away suddenly on July 2, 2009 at the age of 56 years. Loving father to Tyler and Colin (Samantha), and their mother Michelle. Beloved son of Norma Pierce and the late Jack Pierce. Dear brother to Lee Pierce (Betty), Tony Pierce, Sharon Pierce, Leslie (Bob Staples), John Pierce (Laurie) and Guy Pierce (Margo). Predeceased by a sister Judy MacKillop. Derek will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
