Peacefully passed away at the Royal Victoria Health Centre on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in her 72nd year. Desdemona (nee Kendall), beloved mother of Neil Walter, Sarah Walter (daughter in-law) and Daryl Walter. Cherished grandmother of Amelia, Vivian, Samuel and Elijah. Loving sister of William Kendall, Doris Kendall, Josephine Jarvis, Phyllis Howard and aunt of Esther Kendall Spencer, Janice Kendall, Thelma Gore, Phyllis Kendall and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, on Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 10 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am, followed by cremation.
