Peacefully passed away at Roberta Place LTC, Barrie, on Sunday, March 9, 2014, in her 91st year. Dolores (nee Micallef), beloved wife of the late Joseph James Sammut. Loving mother of Joanne Black (David) and Bernadette Myers. Cherished grandmother of Monica Black. Dear daughter-in-law of Mary Sammut. Predeceased by her sisters Rose Zammit, Carmela Sciberras, Cecilia Colero and her brother Angelo Micallef.. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law Jean and Carmela, her brother-in-law Edward, her many nieces and nephews and many friends. Cremation will be followed by visitation at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Mass at Holy Spirit Church, 650 Essa Rd., Barrie, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11 am. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Roberta Place Retirement Residence and Roberta Place Long Term Care for their dedication, support and compassion.
