Passed away peacefully, following a lengthy illness, on Thursday May 24, 2012 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Marg. Loving father of Kelly (Mark Winterburn), Graham, Bruce (Barb) and Shauna. Proud “Papa” and “Grandpa” of Michelle, Brent, Kaitlyn, Danielle, Brandon, Tylor, Sierra, Cole, Sara and “Grampie Jack” of Lida. Great grandfather of Acacia. Survived by his sisters Jean and Ruth, and by his brothers Frank and Bob. Predeceased by his first wife Faye, sister Marion and his brother Bert. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. Barrie, from 7-9 p.m. Monday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Barrie Food Bank or the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre.
