A Celebration of Life will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 from 12:30 - 3 pm. Words of Remembrance to occur at 1:30 pm by the family. Interment will take place privately in May at the Barrie Union Cemetery beside her loving husband of 51 years Maurice, and son Grant. A memory chest will be made available during the Celebration of Life for anyone who would like to write a personal note, card or memory that will accompany Doris in her final resting place. Pens and paper will be made available for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Doris can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County or the charity of your choice.
