Peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Sunday, July 10, 2011 in her 84th year. Doris, beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Scott Ward and his wife Carol. Cherished grandmother of Samantha and Christopher. Dear sister of Bud Noble and wife Marian. She will also be missed by her nieces Michelle, Janice and Leanne and their families. The family will receive friends at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Road., on Wednesday, July 13th from 7-9 p.m., and on Thursday, July 14th from 12 noon until service time in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place in Toronto, On., at a later date. If desired, memorial donations made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
