Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Teacher, Community and Church Volunteer passed peacefully on August 5, 2024.
In her 95 years, Doris dedicated her life to service of family, community, and her Anglican faith. Her life embraced living the values of love, acceptance, hope, caring, compassion and duty to others.
Doris lived those values with passion and dedication in the family home, in her professional life as a Kindergarten-early grades teacher where she touched the lives of hundreds of students, in the many communities she lived, and in her extensive volunteer work through her church.
Doris was predeceased by Robert (Bob) in 1992 and is survived by her sons Gregg (Twyla, grandsons Donovan and Christopher and their families) and Mark (Claudia, grandsons Trevor and Andrew and their families), her brother Don and his wife Penny and their families, and the Neelin families.
Doris’ faith and devotion are reflected in:
