Passed quietly at home in her 95th year, on Monday, September 14th, 2015. Predeceased by her husbands Lorne Atkinson and Sydney Cryderman. Loving mother of Helen Gourlay, Joan Ryan (Late Ken), Keith Atkinson (Valerie), Brian Atkinson (Holly), predeceased by sons; Eldon, Ivan and Elwood Atkinson. Step Mother to Noreen Howcroft (late Norman), predeceased by stepchildren; Isabel, Gordon, and Jimmy Atkinson. Dorothy will be remembered by many grandchildren. Family and friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Thursday September 17th, from 9:30am until the time of the service in the chapel at 11:30am, followed by a reception.
