LOWRY, Dorothy Mae
Passed away peacefully at IOOF Seniors Home on Sunday, December 27, 2009 in her 94th year. Dorothy (Lucas) Lowry of Barrie, reunited with beloved husband Russell. Dear mother of Douglas and his wife Dorothy, Gwynneth and her husband Hal Johnston. Loving grandmother of Danny (Kim), Cheryl (Greg), Kimberley (James), Sean (Karine), Candice (George), Kelly (Gary) and Wade (Melissa). Proud great-grandmother of 14. Cherished sister of Laura North of Red Deer, Alberta and mother-in-law of Mary Lowry. Predeceased by her parents William and Mabel Lucas, son Donald Lowry, grandson Gregory and son-in-law Gordon McLean.
Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point, Barrie (705) 721-1211. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Minet's Point Chapel.
