Peacefully passed at the Spencer House Nursing Home in Orillia on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Murchison (2020). Loving mother of Bryan (Cheryl) Murchison and Valerie (John) Armstrong. Proud grandmother of Daniel (Kassie), Michael (Stephanie), Lyndsey (Jesse) and Cameron. Will be missed by her sister-in-law Florence Jarrett and her nephews Scott and Cameron (Suzanne). Will be missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
Dorothy was a Maple farm girl born and raised. She was a big part of the Maple community being involved with the United Church, Humber Valet Cleaners, IDA Drugstore and life at the Maple IGA Plaza. She loved the cottage life with family and friends and had very special relationships with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was a special lady with a beautiful smile and a beautiful heart and will be missed by many.
