SLACK, DOROTHY
Passed away at Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie, on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 103.
Beloved wife of the late Norman Slack. Dear sister of the late Bill Little (Marjorie), the late Grace
Marrow (Jack), the late Mildred Allen (Glen), Florence Kennedy (Wally), Edith Jacklin (Walter)
and much loved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Born in Innisfil Twp., attended Barrie Collegiate and Peterborough Teacher's College. Dorothy
was a long-time retired East York (Toronto) teacher. A special thank you to the staff at Mill Creek
Care Centre for their compassionate and loving care. Family and friends will be received at the
STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, Ontario, on
Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 11 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 pm.
Donations to St. George's Anglican Church, Diabetes Association or St. Paul's Cemetery Fund
