Unexpectedly passed on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at his home in Barrie at the age of 21 years. Beloved son of Crystal and Luke Morgan. Loving brother of Dakota. Cherished grandson of James and Louise. Predeceased by his grandmother Shirley (April, 2023). Loving nephew of Jon. Will be sadly missed by his best friend, Jordan, extended family members and many dear friends.
Dustin was a source of joy to so many. He ensured his sister always had the support she needed, as was the case for anyone with whom he interacted always putting others first and could be counted on to be there for you when you needed a friend to chat with or just to hang with. He found much comfort on his daily longboard rides and dreamt of one day riding a motorcycle. His passion for cooking was always shown through the bagels and bread he would make and enjoyed many different sports, particularly weightlifting and workouts. In his off time, he hung out with his best friend Jordan or you’d find him playing video games and was very excited about the upcoming FF7 series. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him by the light he carried everywhere he went.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, December 22nd, 2023 from 11 am until the time of Service in the Chapel at 12 pm. Reception to follow inside the Lower Lounge. In keeping with Dustin’s wishes, cremation will follow with a private interment at the Barrie Union Cemetery.
